Stop this train...I want to get off and go back home again.....

Last night I went to sleep feeling so good.
Numbers were all good.
And the hemorrhaging had all but stopped.
Yesterday with the help of nurse Deb, Travis & Kara, was my best day in ICU so far.
I was really cautiously optimistic that I hand "rounded the curve".

But overnight all the bleeding returned and as much as I hate to even admit it to myself this morning - I feel like death warmed over.

Argh.

Waiting to see what the good Doctors have to say today.

  1. Glad to hear you had a good day yesterday and went to sleep feeling good. Sorry to hear you were awoken with more bleeding. I dont understand why the bleeding seems to present itself at night...something I hope your doctors can provide answers to...maybe it is just because most of our digestion occurs at night. This is just another up and down...remember you will have many in the beginning...but you keep getting back up and fighting. There is no other option. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! You WILL get thru this. Time heals all wounds...your body just needs some more time...and that is ok...dont give up on it! Hoping today and tonight are better than the last...get better each day bob. Love you. Be sound..

  4. Beth is wise (and in the medical field it appears). PLEASE read her entry over and over, to give you strength and hope.
I think of you every day and know that these 'set backs' WILL not last. On this beautiful Sunday morning you are receiving enough prayer to get you through....
