Just talked to the surgeon, Dr Narins, and after 6 1/2 hours in surgery he said my Dad is doing great. Dr Narins said the organs look good and seem to be functioning already. This is amazing news considering Harrisburg hospital only does on average 3 kidney / pancreas transplants a year. My Dad is in recovery right now and will be moved to ICU in about an hour which is when we can see him. Thanks again for all the love and prayers. We'll keep you posted.
