Just got the word from my nurse that blood looks good. Still pushin' some very lo grade heat but my Amylase & Lipase levels are normal and I'm heading HOME.
Well, well well... while I was sleeping the east coast was moving ahead at 'breakneck' speed! I read the blog last night and was feeling the frustration of this intense & lengthy process. Then...here I am at 7 a.m. and you may be almost HOME!!!!! Your comment about the "fluidity" of the transplant business was a good reminder for ALL of us, I expect. Everyone wants SO much for you to be home and on the SMOOTH road to recovery. Each entry that conveys ANYthing else, is a difficult to read. I thank you for your dedication to this blog and celebrate with you today...
Watched your blog yesterday and was wishing you good news. Now guess you may be getting ready to leave today! What WONDERFUL NEWS! ENJOY the HOLIDAY weekend--truely a "holiday" for you and all your family and friends.
Nothing like the comforts of home! Now just take one day at a time...no expectations may save you from discouragement. Enjoy your weekend!
